2 years agoThe San Diego Padres placed right-hander Mike Clevinger and left-hander Adrian Morejon on the COVID-19 injured list on Saturday and recalled pitchers Raymond Kerr and Reiss Knehr from the minors in corresponding moves. Clevinger was originally scheduled to start one of the games of the doubleheader against the Colorado Rockies on Saturday, but Nick Martinez and MacKenzie Gore will now get the nods. Clevinger, who has made only four starts for the Padres this year due to injury, will miss at least one turn through the rotation, but there remains no timetable for his return. The 31-year-old has been solid when on the mound, posting a 3.18 ERA and 1.19 WHIP with 20 K's and seven walks in 17 innings of work.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
