6 years agoChicago Bears running back Mike Davis is impressing coaches through the first few days of padded practice. The team hopes that rookie running back David Montgomery will eventually become the featured runner by season's end but privately are gushing about the ability of Davis. The 26-year-old signed as a free agent in the offseason and is off to a strong start. Montgomery has already made a few rookie mistakes in camp and may not head into the regular season as the featured back. This opens the door for Davis to score some fantasy points early and often come Week 1. He may not having staying power but Davis can be a smart bench piece in most fantasy formats to start the season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
