Mike Evans Has Contract Restructured
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans had his contract restructured on Saturday to help the team create salary cap space to sign running back Leonard Fournette and kicker Ryan Succop, according to the Pewter Report. The restructuring created about $9.56 million in cap space. Evans signed a five-year, $82.5 million deal back in March of 2018 and has remained an integral piece of this offense. The 6-foot-5 receiver has compiled over 1,000 yards in all six of his NFL seasons and has spent training camp building a solid rapport with new quarterback Tom Brady. Despite the multitude of weapons on the team, Evans is still one of the top receiving options and remains a WR1 for fantasy.
