Mike Evans Has No Setbacks With Hamstring
3 years agoTampa Bay Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday, and head coach Bruce Arians said the star receiver was fine and had no setbacks after playing against the Jets last week. With Antonio Brown seemingly on his way out the door and Chris Godwin out for the year, Evans is the only reliable Bucs wide receiver left, which could make him a solid play in Sunday's showdown in Carolina. However, the Bucs can't end up with anything worse than the 4th seed in the NFC and can only climb as high as 2nd seed, so it's unclear just how much the team will push Mike Evans in Week 18. Based on last week's usage, it appears that Cyril Grayson may now be the Bucs #2 WR after playing 62.5% of snaps and seeing 16.3% of targets, which could make him an intriguing DFS punt play or even a strong cash play if we get any indication that the Bucs might take it easy with Evans.
