3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans became the latest big name added to the league's Reserve/COVID-19 list Monday. Evans missed Sunday's game vs. Carolina due to a hamstring injury that the team hopes he can return from prior to the start of the postseason, but his latest roadblock throws a wrench into the plans. With Chris Godwin (knee) done for the season, Antonio Brown enjoyed a breakout performance in Week 16 and would continue to see an elevated role should Evans remain sidelined for the matchup against the Jets. The news of Evans hitting the list comes shortly after the update that Breshad Perriman would be activated off of it, paving the way for him to suit up for the first time since Week 14.
