6 years agoBuccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans had a mediocre day Sunday in Atlanta with just 58 yards on four catches. The de facto WR1 in Tampa Bay has not had a WR1-esque game since Week 3 and owners may start to get a little concerned. Could Jameis Winston's return be having a negative effect of Mike Evans? There certainly is some cause for concern given that the two failed to connect last season as well. However, there is a solid historical sample of Winston feeding Evans so what we're likely seeing is his floor. While not ideal, there should be better days ahead. Quarterback Jameis Winston was capable of spreading the ball around as he hit seven different receivers with multiple targets Sunday. In tougher matchups, he will look to his trusted, big-bodied target to bail him out.--Kev Mahserejian - RotoBaller
