Mike Evans Tweaks His Hamstring
2 years agoUpdating a previous report, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said that wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) tweaked his hamstring in training camp practice on Friday, which is why he left practice early. It was also the same day that Chris Godwin (knee) returned to practice for the first time since undergoing surgery on his torn ACL. Evans has a history of hamstring injuries, and although he might miss some practice time this summer, he should be ready to go for Week 1 of the regular season. Fantasy managers shouldn't be too worried about the clear-cut WR1. The 28-year-old will remain one of quarterback Tom Brady's favorite weapons, especially in the red zone. Evans had 74 catches for 1,035 yards and a career-high 14 touchdowns in 16 regular season games last year.
