5 years agoOakland Athletics starter Mike Fiers has destroyed the ratios - and fantasy championship dreams - of many an owner in the past two weeks, allowing 16 earned runs in the 7 2/3 innings that his last three starts have been comprised of. But nevertheless, Fiers tried to kiss and make up with his jilted owners on Friday night, giving up just two hits in eight scoreless innings of an 8-0 victory over the Texas Rangers.
