5 years agoOakland Athletics starter Mike Fiers allowed four runs on seven hits in five innings of work during Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Los Angeles Angels. He struck out four batters while walking two. It was not the best outing for the 34-year-old, but the A's offense managed to bail him out. His last loss came on May 1, 21 starts ago. He has tallied 11 wins over that span while lowering his 6.81 ERA down to a respectable 3.51 ERA. Fiers has become someone to trust in the majority of fantasy formats.
