7 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Mike Fiers will make his debut with the team and start against the Dodgers on Wednesday. Fiers pitched respectably for a bad Tigers team, going 7-6 with a 3.48 ERA and 1.24 WHIP, but he struck out 6.6 hitters per nine innings over 21 starts. He once threw a one-hitter against the Dodgers, but Fiers makes for a risky streamer in his Oakland debut. In the right matchups, though, the right-hander can be a solid streamer in deep mixed leagues, and he'll have a much better offense supporting him now.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
