5 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Mike Fiers (arm) is expecting to throw a bullpen session Tuesday. Fiers left Saturday's start against the Rangers with nerve irritation in his right arm. He hasn't had an MRI yet but said he's feeling good and the visit to the doctor went well. It sounds like Fiers could have a shot to make his next scheduled start this Saturday against Texas pending the medical results and how his arm feels after throwing. While the medical news is encouraging, Fiers is not a recommended start this weekend in fantasy. He hasn't had a quality start since August 9 and has a 6.89 ERA and 7.59 FIP in that time frame.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
