Mike Foltynewicz Allows Two Homers In Loss
3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Foltynewicz had trouble keeping the ball in the ballpark during Sunday's game against the Seattle Mariners. He went seven innings, allowing four hits, four earned runs with five strikeouts. At first glance, Foltynewicz didn't have a horrible outing, but the long ball cost him the game. He gave up two home runs that resulted in all of the Mariners runs in this contest. The right-hander dropped to a 2-8 record with a 5.17 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and 67 strikeouts over 94 innings. His next outing will be against the Oakland Athletics, so he can continue to be ignored in fantasy formats.
