Mike Foltynewicz Has Decent Outing On Sunday
3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Foltynewicz finally put together a decent outing after getting smacked around his last few starts. He went five innings, three hits allowed, two earned runs, three walks, and one strikeouts versus the Seattle Mariners on Sunday. Both of his runs came with the bases loaded in the second inning. However, Foltynewicz was able to work out of trouble and help get the 4-3 victory. The right-hander will take a 6.00 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 78 strikeouts over 111 innings into his next start against the Oakland Athletics. He won't be a reliable streaming choice for that one and can be ignored in fantasy formats going forward.
