4 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Mike Ford belted his first home run of the season in Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Indians. Ford went back-to-back with Gio Urshela in the fourth inning, crushing a 3-1 fastball 409 feet into the right-field seats. The 28-year-old is batting just .133 since being recalled- though good matchups await in a four-game series against the Orioles starting on Monday. Their pitching staff has surrendered the ninth-most long balls in baseball so far, meaning Ford could be an affordable yet effective DFS play this week.--Tim Capurso
