2 years agoMiami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki will play on a franchise tag this season. After both sides failed to settle on a long-term contract before Friday's 4 p.m. deadline, the 26-year-old will now earn nearly $11 million in 2022-23. Gesicki finished last year by compiling 73 catches for 780 yards, both career-highs. However, he had only two touchdowns after combining for 11 throughout his previous two seasons. While Gesicki should have some productive fantasy showings this season, he's unlikely to be a steady contributor, primarily with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle also looking for the attention of Tua Tagovailoa.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
