7 years agoFree-agent running back Mike Gillislee will sign a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints on Sunday after being cut by the Patriots on Saturday, according to a source. This move makes sense after the team also cut Jonathan Williams on Saturday. Mark Ingram will also serve a four-game suspension to open the year, so Gillislee will serve as a short-yardage option behind Alvin Kamara and Boston Scott. Gillslee's fantasy value couldn't have gotten much worse than it was with the Patriots, and he might be worth a look as a waiver option early in the year if he vultures some touchdowns for the Saints.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
