2 years agoNew York Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will call plays for the offense in Week 1 of the regular season this Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. Kafka is in his first season as the team's coordinator after serving as quarterbacks coach the last two years for the Kansas City Chiefs. The Giants are hoping that he can help quarterback Daniel Jones improve in his fourth NFL season. Don't be surprised if Daboll, who has experience calling plays for the Buffalo Bills, takes over play-calling duties if the Giants offense gets off to a bad start in 2022.
