6 years agoSeattle Mariners starter Mike Leake will take the ball Friday night against the A's in Oakland. Leake (8-8) has been a solid innings-eater this season but has not picked up a win since June 23. He is posting a 3.46 ERA since the All-Star break but wins have been elusive. He is allowing opponents to hit .301 against him in night games and Leake will have to be especially careful with A's catcher Jonathan Lucroy. The veteran catcher has owned Leake throughout his career and is 20-for-40 (.500) against him. Leake is no more than a middling fantasy option for Friday's slate of games.--Joey C - RotoBaller
