Mike Leake Solid In Mariners Win
7 years agoSeattle Mariners starter Mike Leake pitched seven strong innings of two-run baseball and the Mariners outlasted the Indians 5-4. Leake struck out four and allowed only five hits and begins the season on a positive note. Leake struggled at times coming over from the Cardinals last season via trade but Seattle is hoping he can solidify the middle of their rotation this season. There still may be some bumps in the road in the near future but Leake's performance coupled with a dominant first start from Felix Hernandez bode well for the Mariners rotation to begin the season.
