3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tackle Mike McGlinchey (knee) won't return to Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals. The 26-year-old injured his knee during the second quarter of the contest and was initially labeled as questionable before being subsequently ruled out. This is not good news, especially since the 49ers have struggled to stay afloat against an Arizona team without Kyler Murray (ankle) and DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring). Nonetheless, McGlinchey, who's allowed only two sacks all year, will likely remain on the injury report ahead of the Monday Night Football showdown against the Los Angeles Rams. Tom Compton, who's struggled already since taking over, will likely continue to start until McGlinchey can make it back to the field.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
