5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Minor didn't allow a run across seven innings and earned his 10th win of the season Monday vs the Indians. He allowed seven hits and one walk while striking out seven in his latest brilliant performance. Minor is having a career year with a 3.06 ERA and 148 strikeouts in 147 innings. His success largely comes from limiting hard contact, his 35.8 percent rate is well above the MLB average, and he is generating ground balls at a greater than 40 percent rate. Throw in an 11.7 percent swinging-strike rate you've got a must-own pitcher in fantasy. Minor does, however, have a tough matchup lined up Sunday in Milwaukee.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
