Mike Minor Gives Up Four Runs In Loss
5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Minor allowed four runs in six innings and took the loss vs the Mariners Wednesday. Minor actually pitched well overall, but was doomed by a four-run fifth inning. Minor has had a nice season with a 3.00 ERA and 9.14 strikeouts per nine. Those numbers are a bit deceiving as his FIP is much higher at 4.09 and has been the beneficiary of an 87 percent strand rate. Minor has been at the center of a lot of trade rumors and his rest of season fantasy value will largely depend on where he winds up pitching but his next scheduled start with the Rangers is a rematch against these Mariners at home on Tuesday.
