6 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Minor allowed three earned runs, seven hits and three walks with five strikeouts over five innings in a loss against the Houston Astros on Thursday. He threw 65 of his 102 pitches while uncorking two wild pitches. Despite the road loss, he still has a 3-3 record with a respectable 2.68 ERA and 1.04 WHIP across eight starts with one complete-game shutout. He also has registered 53 strikeouts across 53 2/3 innings, serving as a must-start fantasy option in AL-only leagues and some mixed formats. His next scheduled start is set for Wednesday night in Kansas City.--Daniel Dobish
