Mike Minor Looks Sharp In Second Spring Start
5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Minor threw 4 2/3 scoreless innings on Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox to continue his solid start to spring training. Minor gave up two hits and struck out three batters in his outing, and is now up to 7 2/3 innings over his two starts and has not given up a run. The 32-year old is coming off a season that saw him become one of only 12 pitchers that pitched at least 200 innings and struck out 200 batters in 2019. He will slide down the rotation's pecking order now that Corey Kluber is in town, but Minor's current ADP of 172 means that he is a low-risk pick with some exclusive and desirable upside heading into 2020.
