5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Minor allowed two runs, one earned, but took the loss Wednesday afternoon. Minor allowed four hits and three walks while striking out eight in his latest strong start. Minor is having a superb season with a 3.06 ERA and 156 strikeouts in 154 innings and the success looks sustainable. His swinging-strike rate of 11.7 is the second-highest of his career and he is only allowing 35.8 percent hard contact. He should be owned and started in all leagues, though he does have a tough matchup in Milwaukee this Sunday.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
