Mike Minor The Tough-Luck Loser On Friday
5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Minor allowed four runs, three earned, in seven innings but took the loss Friday night vs the Twins. It was Minor's third straight start of at least seven innings as the left-hander continues to be one of the biggest surprises in fantasy. His sub-3 ERA is a little misleading as his xFIP resides at 4.42, but even if his ERA regresses a little he'll still provide plenty of value. Minor is striking out over a batter per inning and is averaging almost six and a half innings per start. He's got a nice matchup lined up for Wednesday when he'll face an Angels lineup that is among the worst in the league against left-handed pitching.
