6 years agoChicago Cubs pitcher Mike Montgomery put together another strong performance on Tuesday versus the Dodgers. Montgomery went six innings and allowed five hits, one run, four walks and struck out five. The walks were Montgomery’s only downfall on the evening and over five starts, the left-hander has yet to allow more than a run. Montgomery has pitched well enough to keep his spot in the rotation, as he’s filling in for Yu Darvish (triceps). Montgomery is worth owning in most mixed leagues while he remains in the rotation.
