Mike Moustakas Exits With Hip Tightness
3 years agoCincinnati Reds infielder Mike Moustakas (hip) exited Saturday's game due to right hip tightness, according to Bobby Nightengale Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer. Moustakas struck out swinging to lead off the top of the second inning, and he was then replaced on defense in the bottom half of the inning by Asdrubal Cabrera. It's been an injury-marred season for Moustakas, as he is slashing .217/.311/.420 with six homers, 19 RBI and 21 RBI over 44 games. Consider him day to day for the time being, and keep an eye out for updates after the game.
