4 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Mike Moustakas is set to come off the injured list Wednesday against Kansas City after having been sidelined due to a quad bruise. Moustakas came up with the Royals organization and will be playing his former team for the first time in his career. The move zaps Josh VanMeter of any deep season-long value that he may have had as Moustakas figures to reclaim everyday duties at the keystone. Despite a stop-start beginning to his Reds tenure, Moustakas has compiled a career-best 124 OPS+ through his first seven games. He can safely be redeployed in all season-long formats.--Jesse Borek
