4 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Mike Moustakas went 2-for-3 with a double, a homer, a walk, and three RBI in a 6-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday. The big night raises Moustakas' batting average to .218, to go along with six doubles, six homers, 11 runs, 23 RBI, and one steal. Not quite the offensive production the Reds envisioned when they handed him a four-year, $64 million contract in the offseason. Of course, Moustakas is a proven offensive talent who plays his home games at hitter-friendly Great American Ballpark so a bounce-back next season is possible. Moustakas will face Brewers starter Adrian Houser on Tuesday.--Matt T - RotoBaller
