4 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Mike Moustakas is out of the lineup for Saturday’s contest against the Cardinals and left-handed pitcher Kwang Hyun Kim with Kyle Farmer manning the keystone. Manager David Bell revealed that it’s just a planned day off for Moustakas and that he is not feeling any ill effects in the wake of his IL stint. It has been a start and stop beginning to 2020 for Moustakas, who has managed to compile an .835 OPS in his first 11 games. His next chance to return to the lineup comes Sunday against St. Louis right-hander Daniel Ponce de Leon.--Jesse Borek
