3 years agoCincinnati Reds infielder Mike Moustakas (heel) was transferred to the 60-day injured list on Saturday, the team announced on Twitter. It was reported that Moustakas had his rehab assignment shut down on Thursday after he reaggravated his heel injury, but it appears it was enough to warrant him missing another month of the season. With this move, Moustakas will now be eligible to return around the end of July, as he's been out since May 20. Over 28 games this season, Moustakas was slashing .241/.337/.437 with four homers, 13 RBI and 15 runs scored prior to the injury. Managers can continue to stash him for now, but if you run into a roster crunch, Moustakas is likely a guy you can safely drop until he returns.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
