5 years agoNew England Patriots kicker Mike Nugent made his debut with the team, hitting both of his field goal attempts but missing an extra-point in the Patriots win over the Redskins. The 37-year-old won an open tryout this week after long-time kicker Stephen Gostkowski was placed on IR with a hip injury. Nugent missed on his first extra-point attempt but bounced back by hitting field goals from 23 and 37 yards respectively. Playing on a team with a dynamic offense will earn him some value in the fantasy department and will be a solid streamer this Thursday against the Giants to kick off Week 6.--Joey C - RotoBaller
