6 years agoBoston Red Sox pitcher Mike Shawaryn will continue to pitch out of a relief role, according to manager Alex Cora. Shawaryn, who pitched through the minor leagues as a starter, has pitched well so far in a limited amount of work, compiling 11 strikeouts over six innings to go along with a 2.65 FIP. If he can continue to pitch well and get moved into a starter's role, he could bring some value to the table, but as of now he holds little fantasy value and can remain on the waiver wire.--Joseph Magazzinich
