7 years agoCalgary Flames goaltender Mike Smith will make his 53rd start of the season on Wednesday in a home game against the Anaheim Ducks. Smith has struggled since returning from a lower-body injury, losing four of five starts while allowing 3.40 goals per game with an .872 save percentage, and it won't get easier either, as the Ducks have been one of the hottest teams around for a while, winning three straight and 10 of their last 15 games. With that said, Smith has a good record against them with two wins in three starts this season, allowing just 1.35 goals per game, so maybe he can spring a surprise.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
