5 years agoEdmonton Oilers goaltender Mike Smith produced a superb 51-save performance on Saturday, helping the team beat Pittsburgh 2-1 in overtime. His bid for a shutout was ruined by Brian Dumoulin 13:14 into the third period when the Pens defenseman scored his first goal of the season in a short-handed situation. Smith is sharing the starts with Mikko Koskinen this season and he's done well, producing a 5-3-1 record.
