Mike Smith Pulled After Another Rough Start
6 years agoCalgary Flames goaltender Mike Smith was pulled after making 19 saves on 24 shots for five goals allowed and a .792 save percentage. After a promising shutout against a top offense in the Nashville Predators, Smith struggled once again for his third sub .900 save percentage start this season. He was pulled for David Rittich after the second period. Smith's now up to a 2-2-0 record with a .881 save percentage on the season and will most likely face the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday. He should be cautiously started right now.
