7 years agoAtlanta Braves pitching prospect Mike Soroka could be called up to start on Wednesday if Julio Teheran is unable to pitch. For now, Atlanta expects Teheran to be able to go, but if not Soroka is plan B. Soroka is one of the best pitchers in the minor leagues and one of the best prospects in Atlanta's system. He has a 2-0 record with a 1.99 ERA and a 24/5 K/BB ratio over four AAA games this season. While it's likely Teheran is good to go, Soroka makes for an interesting streamer should he be called up Wednesday.--Dan Fappiano
