6 years agoAtlanta Braves starter Mike Soroka was forced from Sunday's game early after getting hit by a pitch on the right arm in the top of the third. He looked visibly upset after getting struck, and it's unknown at this time the severity of the injury. The move could have been purely precautionary as the Braves are sure to be cautious with their breakout starter. Soroka has shined this year with an 8-1 record and a 2.12 ERA through 12 starts. He threw two scoreless frames in this one with a strikeout and look for an update from the club in the coming hours.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
