4 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Mike Soroka (Achilles, shoulder) will be shut down from throwing for two weeks, according to David O'Brien of The Athletic. Soroka exited his simulated game appearance after one inning on Tuesday with right shoulder inflammation. It's another setback for Soroka, who is trying to work his way back from a torn Achilles tendon. Prior to this, it looked like Soroka would be back with Atlanta around April 23, but now it's looking like his return could be closer to mid-May.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
