4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Mike Tauchman will be on the team's Opening Day roster after a spring training battle with outfielder Jay Bruce for a roster spot. In the end, both players wound up making the team's roster as first baseman Luke Voit (knee) appears likely to start the season on the injured list. Tauchman is likely to slot in as the team's fifth outfielder so playing time will likely be too scarce to make him worth drafting in most leagues, but the 30-year-old should bounce back after a poor 2020 season and is a viable DFS option when he plays.--Sam Chinitz
