4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Mike Tauchman is reportedly the subject of trade interest, and the Yankees could move on from the outfielder given their crowded roster. Since outfielder Jay Bruce's opt-out decision comes on Thursday, the Yankees are likely to solidify their position regarding Tauchman today as well; if Bruce makes the major league roster and doesn't opt-out of his contract, then a Tauchman trade becomes a likely scenario. Coming off of an injury-plagued 2020 season that saw him post a .648 OPS, Tauchman should play more like the .865 OPS hitter he was in 2019 this season. Fantasy managers should hope that Tauchman is traded to a team willing to provide him with everyday playing time as a result, and if so then Tauchman is an extremely attractive draft target at his 649 ADP.--Sam Chinitz
