4 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout will make his third start of the spring and bat second against the Athletics on Friday. Trout has one walk and one hit in four plate appearances so far, though this will be his first appearance in the two-hole after batting cleanup in his first two games. The three-time MVP slashed .281/.390/.603 in 53 games last year, which was actually a bit of a down year by his incredible standards. Trout won't steal as many bases as he used to, but this is a guy who produced at least 100 walks, runs, and RBI with 45 homers and a .291 batting average in his last full season in 2019. He's an easy top-five choice in fantasy drafts.--Tim Capurso
