4 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout had a solid day at the plate in Thursday's win, drawing two walks and collecting a base hit against the Brewers. Trout is having a bit of a slow start to the spring, as he has just five hits in 27 plate appearances. However, worrying about Trout because of a lack of spring training statistics would be preposterous, given his incredible track record. He placed in the 80th percentile or better in nine statistics last year and has averaged 106 runs, 37 home runs, 89 RBI, 20 stolen bases, and 107 walks over the last five years. He might not swipe as many bases as he used to, but Trout is as safe an option as they come in fantasy baseball heading into his age-29 season.--Tim Capurso
