3 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (calf) is expected to begin baseball activities sometime in the next few days as he continues to work his way back from a Grade 2 calf strain. The slugger is still awaiting the seal of approval from team doctors, but he will start the final push toward a return if given the go-ahead. Skipper Joe Maddon recently indicated that the former MVP is "likely still a month away" from being activated, which puts him in line to return sometime after the All-Star Break.
