Mike Trout Expected To Miss More Time
3 years agoAccording to Los Angeles Angels manager Joe Maddon, center fielder Mike Trout (calf) could likely be out for another month as he recovers from a calf injury. Despite being sidelined since May 17, Trout continues to be a lead vote-getter ahead of this season's All-Star game. Although Maddon said the Angels slugger could be available sooner, he also said it would "be a stretch" if Trout was available to play in the midseason classic on July 13 at Coors Field. The 29-year-old was batting .333 with a 1.090 OPS, eight home runs and 18 RBI through 117 at-bats this season before being put on the injured list. Fantasy managers must continue to practice patience with the stud outfielder.
