5 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout is slashing only .179/.288/.393 over his last 15 games heading into Friday night's action. He has not hit a home run since August 17 but this weekend could be a turn for the better. Trout has excelled hitting at home this season, slashing .325/.378/.725 with six extra-base hits and nine runs batted in through only 10 games. A player of Trout's caliber won't be held down for too long and this weekend could be an intriguing time to deploy Trout. He will play the Mariners and Trout is 8-for-22 (.363) with one double, three home runs and four runs batted in through five games against them this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
