5 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (toe) is not in the lineup Saturday against the White Sox. Trout was removed from the game on Friday and his status should be considered day-to-day. The favorite to win AL MVP this season has been dealing with the issue for several weeks but that hasn't stopped Trout from having a career season. He already has a career-high in home runs with 45 and is only seven runs batted in from tying his career-best with 111. Trout is expected to play through the injury but could take more days off moving forward with the Angels out of playoff contention.--Joey C - RotoBaller
