6 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout will try and reach 100 runs batted in for the third time in his career when the team opens up a series against the Rangers on Tuesday. Trout has been quiet over his last 30 at-bats, hitting only .233 during that span. But these lulls at the plate have been few and far in-between for elite slugger and still is slugging .613 in the month of August. Trout has been fantastic on the road this season, posting an OPS of 1.059 with 12 doubles, 22 home runs and 55 runs batted in through 66 road games.
