2 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (back) was able to play catch on the field before Friday's game against the Minnesota Twins. Trout recently began hitting off a tee earlier in the week and has now upped his baseball activities even more as he attempts to get back on the field before the end of the season. The Angels have yet to provide a timetable for Trout's return from the injured list but at least he's trending in the right direction. Trout is hitting .270 with 24 homers, 55 runs, 51 RBI, and a steal across 79 games in 2022.--Matt T - RotoBaller
